Laos vaccinations

which ones do you need?
If you are planning a trip to Laos, it is wise to properly prepare. Our KLM Health Services health experts gladly provide travel advice and are happy to tell you what vaccinations you may require. Which specific vaccinations you need for your trip to Laos, depends on the places you plan to visit and on the duration of your stay in this gorgeous country.

Laos is located in Southeast Asia and has a tropical climate that is strongly influenced by the differences in altitude and the rainy seasons. From May to September, the southwest monsoon brings along a lot of rainfall. Therefore, the best time to visit Laos is between November and April when there is little rain and temperatures are lower. Regardless of your holiday plans, it is important to protect yourself well against various infectious diseases and mosquitoes. Both malaria and dengue occur in Laos.
