Cambodia vaccinations: which ones do you need?

If you plan to travel to Cambodia, then it is wise to make sure you are well informed about the health risks. We recommend vaccinations for Cambodia. The required vaccinations vary and depend on the areas you plan to visit.

Cambodia is situated in Southeast Asia and has a tropical climate with an average temperature of approximately 27 degrees Celsius. The country offers beautiful nature and consists largely of rainforest. Also, Cambodia is known for its magnificent temple complex Angkor Wat and the historic city of Angkor, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Cambodia is a popular destination for travellers who wish to do volunteering work and for backpackers. The latter often also visit neighbouring countries such as Vietnam and Laos.

Always protect yourself well against the bright sun and against malaria or dengue mosquitoes – whether you visit the capital Phnom Penh or one of Asia’s finest islands or work as a volunteer helping locals. Our nurses gladly inform you about preventative measures you can take and about the required immunisations and vaccines for Cambodia.
