Thailand vaccinations

which ones do you need?
Are you travelling to Thailand? Prepare your journey well as certain vaccines are recommended for Thailand. Besides tropical diseases certain other diseases occur in Thailand that have been extinct in Europe for many years. Getting vaccinated guards you against these.

This vast kingdom in Southeast Asia has a lot to offer: beautiful islands and heavenly beaches in the south and breath taking nature in the north. The different environments in Thailand require different vaccinations: if you go on a surf trip or diving adventure in Phuket you will need other immunisations than those required when on a jungle trip or a stay in lively Bangkok. Beautiful Thailand – formerly Siam – has a tropical climate. The average temperature of 27 degrees Celsius is very pleasant. It does however also come with tropical diseases. Moreover, malaria and dengue mosquitoes are present in Thailand and it is important to protect yourself against the fierce sunlight. Our KLM Health Services nurses will gladly inform you about the required immunisations and vaccines for Thailand and are happy to tell you how to prepare for a healthy trip to this heavenly spot.
