Aeromedical examinations

If flying is your profession or hobby, you must undergo an aviation medical examination as a pilot to be allowed to operate an aircraft independently. You can do this at KLM Health Services, where we conduct over 5,000 certified aeromedical examinations annually.

What aeromedical examinations do we offer?

We conduct the following aeromedical examinations:

• Class 1: For commercial purposes (e.g., civil aviation)
• Class 2: For recreational flying
• LAPL: For activities like gliding, ballooning, ultra-light, and drones
• Class 3: For air traffic controllers
