Thanks to a First Aid Post, Travel Clinic and pharmacy our subsidiary, Airport Medical Services, offers high-quality medical care to passengers, employees and visitors to Schiphol Airport. A dedicated team of doctors, nurses, paramedics and support staff are on hand to provide fast, personal and good medical services; 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week.
Last-minute vaccinations
Vaccinations are mandatorily required in many countries. You can visit one of our Travel Clinics and get the necessary vaccinations, 7-days-a-week, with an appointment.
Ambulance
In the event of an accident or a life-threating situation, our ambulance service can be called upon 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week. In conjunction with the Kennemerland safety services, it also plays a crucial role in Schiphol Airport’s disaster contingency plans.
Malaria tablets
If you are travelling to an exotic destination, you run the risk of being bitten by a malaria-infected mosquito. You can pick up medication for malaria at our pharmacy at Schiphol Centrum.
Repatriation
Airport Medical Services works closely with emergency centres in the Netherlands. Should an employee become ill while abroad and need to be repatriated by air, our medical staff will help make the necessary arrangements. If necessary, we can even accompany the patient being repatriated during the journey and provide the required medical support.
